Kelly Osbourne looked a little sour as she ran errands in California yesterday.
But later that evening the reality star looked in far better spirits as she dazzled at the 2010 International Interior Designer Of The Year Awards Ceremony in West Hollywood.
Grey to Glam: Kelly Osbourne undergoes a stunning transformation
When she was spotted near her house in Brentwood that day, Kelly had already had her hair coiffed in preparation for the evening's event, but was otherwise drab in a grey tracksuit and Ugg boots. Her Chanel bag added a touch of glamour to her comfortable outfit.
But when she stepped out with her mother Sharon hours later, the 25-year-old was striking in a corseted lace jumpsuit by Tibi and black platform heels.
The former Dancing with the Stars contestant, who has become something of a fashionista of late, seems to be taken with on-trend lace this week.
Mother-daughter date: She accompanied mother Sharon Osbourne to the 2010 International Interior Designer Of The Year Awards Ceremony in West Hollywood
She wore a cute lace and polka dot Dolce&Gabbana outfit to the Spike TV Scream Awards over the weekend.
Kelly stole the spotlight from the likes of Blake Lively and Megan Fox when she turned up sporting a blonde bombshell look with extensions in her short crop styled into a sixties bouffant.
But the extensions were gone yesterday as Kelly opted for a sleek chic style.
She posed with mother Sharon at the event at the Pacific Design Centre, who was in her trademark black in a suit with embellished jacket shoulders.
Grunge: Kelly arrives home from running errands in Brentwood dressed in Ugg boots, grey tracksuit bottoms
Kelly had earlier tweeted her support for 58-year-old Sharon, who has just made her debut on new CBS chat show The Talk.
Similar to US rival The View or the UK's Loose Women, the daytime show will talk and debate a range of topics, but aims to parrallel mothers groups, where the hosts will talk about their own families and day-to-day lives.
The show has already been criticised for the fact that 'normal' mothers will be unable to identify with the lives of the celebrity hosts, including Sharon, the King of Queen's Leah Remini and TV host Julie Chen, and their guests - so far Christie Brinkley and Jennifer Lopez.
Transformation: The reality star tried out longer locks at the Scream awards on October 16
Perhaps Kelly was picking up tips at the Interior Design Awards, as she has revealed she is moving soon.
The E! Channel Fashion Police star tweeted yesterday that she had been out shopping for interiors ahead of the awards.
She wrote: 'Just bought a couch 4 my new apt and picked the fabric 4 the curtains.'
